Whisper A Dream
by Scott Grimando©

Whisper Don't Speak
This Secret Is Too Deep
The Price To Steep

Stolen Moments Brief
Time Stands Still
Spellbound & Delirious
I Feel A Desperate Thief

Slowed To A Crawl
I Can Finally See
Eyes Reveal Your Nature
As Mirrors Unto Me

Whisper Don't Scream
This Isn't A Dream
A Nightmare Has A Way
Of Dispelling In Time
While A Dream Can Last Forever

I Don't Mean To Speak In Riddles
But All Words Are Transitory
Crafted By The Author
And Lived By The Reader

So I Offer No Apology
For Misinterpretation Of My Story
Because I Know The Plot
Is More Than Simple Allegory

So I Whisper A Dream
That We Could Share
The World Together
For Our Brief Moment In Time
